This is a rare store. In it you'll find incredible, one-of-a kind pieces from the finest homes in Rochester at prices that are truly affordable. And you are assisted by a staff that is not only friendly, but honestly care about you and the pieces that they sell. When a piece is sold (and before it's picked up) you'll see a tag on it that says: 'sold to a good home'. It just says a lot about what this store stands for. You won't be disappointed.
They had some great furniture, but they seemed to be on the more expensive side. They are part consignment shop, but also sell new items. Lots of people were in the store and they were definitely doing a lot of business. This store had a great selection and was very neat to browse. I would definitely put them on the list of places to visit if looking for furniture or other antique type house amenities. I'm not sure if they would be open to haggling on prices.
The women running Windsor Cottage are top-shelf. They offer out-of-the-ordinary home goods at reasonable prices including original oil paintings. We're amazed by their friendly, helpful customer service. You won't be disappointed!
