Terrible experience. Do not recommend it. The bike mechanic did not perform well. I was almost stranded. I went to full moon vista to help me. They fixed my problem right away.

Since then I have visited the shop for minor adjustments and for things like ordering lights for night riding. Everything these guys suggest to me is excellent and always of great quality.

My experience having a custom single speed bike built at Tryon was nothing short of amazing!

I soon decided on the All-City Big Block frame he mentioned and that's when the magic began. When I came to the shop to see the frame after it was ordered I was absolutely astounded at how good it looked.

After browsing around for a while someone directed me to Ben, a member of their staff. I told him what I envisioned and asked him for ideas. At this point I didn't even have a frame. He showed me a couple of frame brands such as Soma, All-City and Surly. He also recommended models those manufacturers offered that were in line with the aesthetic I had in mind.

nice environment, friendly employers and wrench club is the best!

I visited Tryon on a whim one Saturday just to see if they had something close to what I envisioned. Initially when I walked in I didn't see anything that I was looking for due to the fact that their specialty isn't necessarily single speed road bikes.

Throughout the entire process I felt like I became friends with the guys at the shop. It didn't feel like we were conducting business. Ben and the staff showed me so much love - suggesting parts, researching ideas for me, etc. We worked together on building this bike for approximately 3 months.

When the bike was finished it was absolutely perfect! I love it so much! It's better than what I envisioned!

I would highly recommend Tryon to anyone looking to work with a team that will partner with you to meet your needs in a comfortable setting.

After ordering the frame, Ben spent a lot of time with me helping me understand other parts that I needed to order, painting an overall picture. He even met with me off hours to help me choose components and better understand my needs.

The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, the prices are fair and the quality of their work is great. I wish they had a better selection of parts (or were able to order parts more frequently), as service times can take a while if you need a new part and you miss their Monday order.

This is my go to place for all of my mountain bike parts, repairs, and advice. These guys are super knowledgeable and always make time to get your bike in to take a look and diagnose an issue. I just had a Fox Transfer dropper post installed on my Giant Reign and it works absolutely perfectly. It has completely changed my riding for the better, as the guys in the shop told me it would. I have had the pleasure of working with Ben the majority of the time. He is a super helpful and laid back guy who I have nothing but good things to say about. I hope his manager sees this and gives him a raise or at least a pat on the back because every time I have come in, Ben has been there to make sure that all my questions are answered and has gotten me out of the door happy and ready to ride. They also have a pretty awesome deal called "wrench club" which is a program that costs $50 for a year and you get access to a large selection of tools, bike stands, bike wash, some professional guidance, as well as 10% off of retail goods for that year. It really helps you to learn how to work on your own equipment and provides the tools that you need to get pretty much any job done. It's a no brainer to get into this program if you live in the area. Thanks a ton to the guys at Tryon Bike Shop! You guys rock and I will be seeing you many more times!

Thank you Ben and the entire Tryon team for caring about my vision and helping me execute it! I will never forget the wonderful experience.

During that time I visited the shop at least once a week and never did Ben or any of the other staff make me feel like I was bothering them or asking too many questions. They seemed to welcome it. Another thing I really appreciated is that every part they ordered for was delivered in pristine condition, which was really important to me.
