Just a complete disregard for customers. My Husband and I went into Bert's Bikes on Monday July 2, there was no other customers in the store. We went and looked at recumbent exercise bikes and a young Lady came over and asked if we had any questions, we did, she said she wasn't sure of the answer but she would ask her Manager and be right back, well about 8 min later we went and looked for her and she was helping another customer, needless to say I wasn't happy, I said "Miss really we have been waiting for you and we have cash to spend don't you want our business" she looked at me with a blank look and started laughing so I guess the answer was NO they did not want our business. I called and asked to speak to the Manger who said he was there on Monday so my call was a complete waste of time. I am so glad that they are doing so well in this economy that they can laugh at a paying customer.
It gives me great pleasure to write this review about Bert's Bike & Fitness. Long story short, I am training for Triathlon set for 2018. I use Tridot that requires accurate performance measures to tailor training plans. Since the weather has become rainy here in Rochester, I decided to train on Cycle Ops in basement during inclement weather. As a result, Cycle Ops nor Garmin was working. I watched videos to help with installation, called other bike shops in the area, & had taken bike to one shop to install sensors. The sensors simply did not work even after installation. Frustration grew to the point I decided to give Bert's a try cause they are open on Sundays and did not want to wait until Monday. I called Bert's & spoke with Mat who was cordial and concerned. He said, sure bring it in. During my visit, he took time to correctly install the sensors & provided excellent customer service that showed compassion. I highly recommend Bert's Bike without any reservation. Mat is very courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, & takes care of business. From now on, Bert's will be my preferred shop for all my bike needs!

I just purchased a bike from Bert's. Great Experience. I worked with John in service and Pete in sales. The spent a lot of time with me, qualifying me and allowing to try different bikes. I feel I got the right bike for the right price. I never felt pressured or felt I was upsold. GREAT EXPERIENCE!! THANKS JOHN AND PETE!!!
Sold me a tube with a bad valve; not a deal stopper. But when I went there to pick up the tube, the place was empty and it took forever to get waited upon. I was also looking for a new Trek 2.0 and the sales person wouldn't even let me, a 6' 2" with guy with long , monkey, limbs sit the 25" frame that was recommended to me by a professional bike fitter - who runs international tours. Instead, he steered me to a 22.5". My guess it that they were trying to clear out 22.5's rather than allowing a customer to come to a conclusion about their own comfort in the saddle. By the way, the next day, the guy at Park Ave. Bikes let me sit a variety of different sized frames and told me to take me to take my time and pick what seems right to me.
