Overall as someone who was concerned about being swindled and taking advantage of I can say that this place is definitely worth checking out and should be worth a visit if you're considering to buy your first "real" bike. I have nothing but good things to say about this place.
Purchased my 5 yr old's well-loved bike there. Stopped back (a year later) - they adjusted the seat for free and also gave good advice for transition from training wheels. What a beautiful new location! The floor is a inlaid mosaic from 1890.
I came into this store looking for a commuter bike as a total novice and received an incredible amount of assistance. Todd spent over an a hour comparing potential alternative bikes, reviewing safety, fitting, and helping me with concerns I didn't even know existed. Not only that they allowed me to test drive the bike around the street to make sure it was the right fit. The people here seem to show a genuine concern that you're getting the right bicycle. Brian was incredibly helpful and gave information while the paperwork was being filled. Even checking out they applied discounts which were unknown to me saving me 16% of what I thought I would pay.
Awesome environment! Brian helped out so much with my rear brakes yesterday! Since he fixed it I haven't had a problem since! Totally gonna volunteer for the event they host every year!
My visit to this shop was a pleasant surprise. The employees were remarkably cordial, eager to assist and provided fast on the spot service. I had a bent rear brake rotor on an e-bike and wanted to swap it out but couldn't get the wheel off for some reason. They had it off and changed in no time and for a very fair price. I usually prefer to do the work on my own if at all possible, but I wouldn't hesitate to go to Full Moon Vista again.
I was in the market for a road bike to use for work commutes. Todd spent half an hour with me going over my needs and price range. We settled on a Trek ALR 3. After a fitting and some test rides we put in the order. When it came in he double checked my fit on the bike and I was off. My favorite part of this purchase was learning about the world of road bikes from Todd (I knew nothing coming from the mountain bike world). The overall quality and expertise of there staff is unmatched by any bicycle shop around. I highly recommended. 10/10!!!!
