My daughter brought her hedge hog Eloise in because she was very sick. Eloise past away in her arms at the vist. My daughter asked if she could leave her there til she was done at work. And when she back to pick up dr. Joanna hach and her team. Put Eloise in a box with her name and her paw prints on the top. When my daughter showed me the pic. It brought tears to my eyes. Thank you all so much for being so caring.

My cat had sudden severe changes in his personality one day - wouldn't eat or drink, wouldn't use his litter box and hid from human contact. The vet he used to go to couldn't fit him in at the time and recommended Cats & Critters. I gave them a buzz and they were able to fit us in on an emergency basis the same day I called. The whole team is very pleasant, caring, knowledgeable and understanding. My cat saw Dr. Hach who had a very calm and professional chair-side manner. She was sure to address every concern and question we had. After 2 visits I am elated to report my cats personality and mannerisms are back. This comes 2 hours after picking him up from a drop-off stay. I am more than pleased with every interaction and service we received at Cats & Critters. I highly recommend them and will be referring friends and family. Thank you to the whole staff who helped us with our fur baby.

I just moved to the area and had an initial visit for my cat, who is almost 19. I was really impressed and happy with the care and attention both she and I received. Everyone was very kind; even though she was only scheduled for a check-up, when it was determined that there was follow-up testing needed, they took the extra time (another hour out of their schedule that was unplanned) to complete it right then and there when I gave my approval. The vet techs and the vet were all very gentle with her and did their best to soothe her even when she became anxious and difficult. The vet was also very patient in answering all of my questions and seemed very knowledgeable. Great location, right in the Park Ave neighborhood but there was a parking lot and absolutely no issues with parking.

I used to work at Cats & Critters and I still take my kids there bc I know they will be treated well&to the fullest extent. They are very thorough there and make sure that both patient&owner are comfortable. The old was facility was good but the new building is phenomenal&all up to date and definitely more space for them too. I would recommend if you want the best care for your cat or small pocket pet that you go here, you will not be disappointed. The doctors are knowledgeable and compassionate and not only show your pet all the love they can but have a great bedside manner for the owner as well, they understand what both pet and owner are going through.

Dr. Hach & the team at Cats and Critters have cared for my rabbits since 2003. They are the only vets I trust to care for my bunnies, especially in emergency situations of which there have been many. They are exceptionally collaborative with this bunny mama in developing treatment plans. As an established client with older rabbits/rabbits with ongoing health issues they always have time to do a thorough exam and start treatment immediately (although I often drop my rabbit off for the day). One of my rabbits suffered from frequent bouts of GI stasis and they saved her life on at least 4 occasions. Rates for routine and emergency care are reasonable and they are always upfront about costs. In my experience the estimates are almost always more than what I end up paying. Majority of the receptionists are delightful. Price for oxbow rabbit pellets can't be beat anywhere and Victoria is kind enough to let me order them in bulk quantities.
