IM SO EXCITED TO SAY TODAY MARKS MY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY FOR MY MEMBERSHIP AT WORLD GYM GREECE! HONESTLY, I HAVE ENJOYED MY SELF TO THE FULLEST AT THIS CLUB. FROM THE FRONT STAFF TO THE PLAYROOM TO THE TRAINERS AND CLASSES... EVEN THE MAINTENCE. THEY ALL ROCK! THIS PLACE ROCKS! IT HAS HELPED ME ACCOMPLISH SO MANY GOALS. I TOLD MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND FEW OF THEM MADE THE LIFE CHANGING CHOICE TO SIGN UP TOO! THEN WORLDS GAVE ME A FREE ADDITONAL MONTHS ADDED TO MY MEMBERSHIP FOR EACH REFFERED CUSTOMER. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!
I've been going to World Gym for almost two years and have no complaints! Staff is very friendly, helpful, and the facility is always clean. The gym is affordable and they have great hours!
The staff at the front desk ( Chelsea and Britt) are great always have been! The new person (Tina) has zero personality and is never smiling or nice. I have walked past her a dozen times in the last weeks and never a word just a miserable face. I have been a member for a long time and if it wasn't for the girls at desk I would look elsewhere. The entire tone of the gym is now different when you enter it and when she is around.
Be very careful who you do business with. World Gym Greece makes it very difficult to cancel an account and it is very expensive to do so. You can't just call to cancel our even hi to their place of business. You basically have to pay two monthly payments because they require two months advanced notice in writing by certified mail. I have sent them two different letters and they told me they never received either of them. Convenient, right? Then they let months go by and therefore more money adding up that they say I owe them or it goes to collections. I have never known any other establishment that would do business like this. Buyer beware.
I never really used the facility but when I did go it was clean. I just called to cancel my membership but was told it would cost me $40.00 (for 60 days notice - you don't even give that much notice when you leave a job!!!!) and worse, that I had to come down in person to cancel. I was told I couldn't cancel over the phone or online. They have an extensive website, the only reason you can't cancel online is so that they can make it harder for you to cancel. And continue to suck up your electronic funds transfer. I was told I could mail a letter, seriously?! mail a letter?? who does that?
