I don't even know where to start...so let's start at the beginning! I booked a 2-man crew to move from my apartment in Fairport to my new apartment in the city with a 9 a.m. start time. The crew showed up a little early, came in to do a quick survey of what was being moved, and got to work. I've never used a moving company before; I've always done the work myself. So my first question to the crew was "Would you be offended if I didn't lift a finger?" I figured I am paying all this money, might as well relax. Of course they were very cool. I didn't feel like I needed to keep an eye on anything. I was browsing on my phone and then boom, less than 20 minutes later, the truck was loaded up! We were well ahead of schedule so I told the guys to grab a bite to eat, take their time, and I'd meet them at the new place as I needed to stop in the leasing office to wrap up the first months' rent. I also warned them that they'd be unloading way more than they had to load and that two flights of stairs were involved. The response, as it was all day, was "No problem." Right around 9:45 they got started, and less than an hour later they were all done again! The only bummer is the 3-hour minimum charge, but you agree to it, so I have no reason to complain. The guys were friendly, careful, and a pleasure to have small conversations with here and there. I would recommend Sheridan Brothers to everyone! Book them for your next move you won't regret it!! Thanks to Sheridan Brothers, our move was a GREAT experience! From our initial discussion with Brett, to the moving crew (Jake, Marcus, Dillon and Alex) on moving day, they made the whole experience amazing! We had limited storage space for most of our belongings, and the way they packed the storage units was remarkable. They moved quickly, were professional and barely took a break (and asked permission before doing so!). Can't say enough about these guys and would HIGHLY recommend!
This was the first time I used a moving company, I absolutely loved it! The mover's carefully and safely moved all my furniture. They had the job done right at the 3 hour mark! If anyone is moving request Dylan and Marcus, they are great workers very fast!
