PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They broke a window by banging on it to get each others attention, they do not know how to properly use a dolly and dumped it twice breaking several items and then blamed it on the sidewalk, several items are missing, two floor lamps broken, they tried to bribe me with cash for broken items, they drank out of my sink and used the bathroom without asking, they scuffed up the walls, and complained the entire time. They make you sign that nothing is broken before they will leave, which how would you know until you unbox everything?! Very very very unprofessional. They wasted 20 minutes for a smoke break and on their phones. After reading other reviews it seems a waste to make any damage claims at this point. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Becker Movers were friendly and courteous. The arrived on time and moved everything we arranged to have moved. They took care not to damage items and delivered everything intact except for a broken dryer door handle (which I didn't notice until several days later) and scratched a wall that they said they would repair but never contacted us back to do so. Three stars may be a bit low but I'm hesitant to give more. I would probably give four stars if they called back to fix the scratched wall as promised.
Hear is a great company to work for and treat workers well. I see them bust their asses and work hard. Great company serving the area.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worst experience ever. Was quoted 900 it ended up being 1800.00. They scratched up my walls in my old and new house to the point where i had to hire painters to come in and repiant a lot of walls and trim. We unpacked everything and found a lot of damage to our furniture. Some picture frames were severally scratched. The glass in one was broken and hidden in my new garage. They disassembled things then lost the hard ware for them. But the two items that were damaged beyond use was my 61", 8 month old, smart TV and my 7 mo old refrigerator. The smart TV was most likely dropped. It has blood lines running down from the top of the TV. My Refrigerator suffered several large dings and many scratches. They took off the doors then reinstalled them. The refrigerator will not go off and keeps running because the doors will not close. I dealt with Bret through this. In the beginning he was very cordial and all smiles, but in the end he tucked tail and ran behind his company policies. Spineless!!!!!! They then sent a letter stating that I signed something for coverage on their employees errors at 30% of the value. The TV was 2k the refrigerator was 4k. They sent me a check for $240 and stated that it was more than they should do and that I should consider it generous. This company will be hearing from my Lawyer. Oh yea two weeks ago I called and spoke to the owner and he said he was going to "get to the bottom of this" and call me right back. That was two weeks ago. I have not, nor do I expect to hear from him. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Turned my mattress into a sack of laundry moving it (ripping the stitches from pillowtop up so layers below all folded over themselves and internal structure gone). Manager “Brett” came to assess the damage and ACTUALLY said “oh, all mattresses do that, they go back to normal in a day or so” and THEN ACTUALLY tried to make me believe that the stitches previously sewn down through the pillowtop “reattach themselves”. Yah!! He really thought I was going to believe that the mattrsss would “re-stitch itself” - like I’m some sort of f*ing idiot!!
So now I’ve spent the last two and a half weeks attempting to get ahold of Ron - the guy who handles claims to call me back, while Karen - the secretary hangs up on you when you keep asking when Ron will finally be in the office. I have recorded EVERYTHING with them (in person, phone calls).
