I've been using KD Movers since the early 90's (and my family worked with them before that.) I've had a business where we had to move heavy shelving in and out and since then I've used them for every move (or reshuffling of furniture) since then--I've lost count on how many times—they've always been on time, professional, and great. My highest recommendation.

THESE PEOPLE STOOD ME UP ON MY BIG MOVING DAY! If I could give them less than one star I would. I had them scheduled to arrive on 5/11/12 at 9 am. I took off from work and I HAD to be out of my apartment by 1pm. Well, at 9:10 am they still had not arrived so I called. A woman answered the phone and said "Oops. We double booked this time slot. Can you move on the 18th instead?" Um, hello! Move on the 18th? Are you kidding!? So she passes the phone to some rude guy who says "Hey! What are you so upset about. We wrote the date down wrong. It happens! We will still come when we can later today but you gotta give me cash when I'm done!" Duh... you only take cash anyway!! I hung up on him and called another company who rescued me from a potentially disastrous moving situation. THANK YOU INTERIOR MOVERS! YOU GUYS ROCK & YOU WERE A LOT CHEAPER THAN K-D :-)
I've used KD four times in the past and have booked them for a 5th move next month. I've been totally satisfied with their service, professionalism, and price every single time. I wouldn't consider using anyone else.

Unpleasant customer experience with them.
- Milked every minute (i.e. finished work at 4:10pm but note 4:30pm on the billing sheet).
- They finished packing early because I did 1/2 the packing myself in advance, and still the cost came to the total amount even though they said it would cost less if I did any packing on my own in advance.
- Disagreement over a scratched floor not handled professionally.
- They expected me to babysit them and spend my entire day watching them pack.
