I had the pleasure of meeting Tim while at Mann’s Jewelers. He was incredibly welcoming and went to great length to make sure my questions were answered. I was really impressed by his knowledge of not only the products but also his willingness to convey the finer details of diamond grading and selecting different precious metals to me. The staff were all friendly and professional. I really enjoyed my visit!
Great selection and they stand behind their products. My wife's engagement ring had problems after a couple days and they didn't feel comfortable with us keeping it so they comped us the setting. We will be customers forever after that experience.
Beyond happy with Mann's!!! We worked with Kevin at Mann's who helped us find the perfect bands for our wedding. We had a shorter time frame to get our rings in and Kevin did everything he could to ensure we would have our bands. He contacted the designer who then made it possible!! I would recommend Mann's to all who are looking to buy fine quality jewelry and who want great personalized customer service!!!! Shop at Mann's and Ask for Kevin!!!
Don't go here unless you're looking for a large dose of condescension . I brought in a ring with a replacement cubic zircon because the original precious stone fell out. I told the sales woman it's a CZ, she replied "it's obvious". Then I settled on the stone I wanted and she said "let me look a little closer at your ring. It's silver right?". No it's white gold, thank you. At that point I decided not to give Mann's Jewelers my business. Will never go there again. Terrible customer service and very arrogant staff.
My initial impression of Mann's was very high. I purchased a ring for my boyfriend right before Christmas and the sales associate that helped me was very pleasant and helped me find a piece I absolutely loved and knew he would as well. We dropped off the ring to have it sized just before Christmas and were due to pick it up on the 4th. Upon arriving a couple minutes past 5:30 we were told by a sales association locking the door that they were closed. We mentioned that we were only picking an item up but she told us the registers were already closed. It didn't make sense to me since we wouldn't have needed to use a register anyway since the sizing was complimentary and again, we were just picking it up. We were told to come back when they re-opened in the morning. Overall I found this extremely disappointing and poor customer service. I can't help but feel that we were judged based on our appearance and because we are young and maybe not dressed as professionally as the majority of their clientele this is part of the reason we were turned away and not taken seriously. The day before I was in the area and called to see if I could pick it up early and was told it was not ready, only to have my boyfriend receive a call within a couple hours of my inquiry being told it was. I spent close to $500 on this ring and I still don't have it. I work for a reputable family-owned business that has been in Rochester for 30+ years as well. I just have to say that while it can be frustrating to have customers come to the door a couple minutes after closing, it's still important to take care of them because at the end of the day they're what keeps small business alive. I found this experience to be upsetting and I just would have expected better from Mann's.
