I recently had a custom engagement ring made with Charisma.
I communicated with two other stores in town regarding a custom ring, but I didn't feel comfortable with the others because they weren't able to show me what the final product would look like. Charisma Jewelers took the time to give me a 3D model of the ring and answered all my questions. (I had a lot of questions)
Great customer service and selection! The staff made picking out an engagement ring fun and stress free. Very knowledgeable. I had a question about how a certain ring style was made and they took the time to show me bare parts and how they construct the ring. I visited other jewelers, but Charisma was the only one to have the exact style, size, and diamond quality I was looking for. Beat all other stores on price too! Highly recommend!
Every time you visit, you will have a friendly and personal experience. They do not try to pressure you into buying. Plus, the prices at Charisma are competitive. I would never go to any other jeweler in the Rochester area!
Quoted me $112 dollars to resize a ring from 11 to 11-3/4. I left it there, thank God someone I knew told me that was an insane price to pay for a sizing. That person called on my behalf and asked them why the high price, they said they had to tighten stones as well. Guess what...no stones were loose. They said they couldn't lower the price. We then told them to not work on the ring and we'd just come back to pick it up. I took it to another jeweler, locally in Spencerport, J Williams Jeweler, I didn't say anything about my Charisma experience...and J Williams quote me $34! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? $80 less for a sizing? I tried to give Charisma a chance, but I'll never go back there. Thank God I knew someone who had some experience with jewelry, otherwise I would have never known, and I would have gotten screwed.
I proposed to my fiance this past weekend, and I couldn't be happier with the result. She says the ring is perfect. If you have reservations about having a ring custom-made, I suggest you go to Charisma and talk to them. I believe you will be very happy with your decision.
