Very very slow service. Food was extremely cold. Ran out of chicken. Instead of them telling what they were out of they let me continue with my order, gave me a total. I paid then tell me they were out of chicken. It took them 15 to refund me my money because "the line was long. NEVER AGAIN. The coleslaw was good. Which was about the only thing i revieved.
I go to the one on Lake Avenue in the lot it seems like their employees are more into chatting amongst each other than serving customers at a fast and steady pace last time I went chicken wasn't really all the way done down to the bone
Popeyes is always the way to go for fast food fried chicken. Very comforting food. Staff is helpful and friendly. Always worth the (slightly high) prices.
On 11.12 I ordered a family dinner to go and our chicken selection was mainly 12 pieces of legs & wings with 1 breast! To make matters worst, I received spicy instead of mild so kids could not eat. Biscuits were better as hockey pucks since they were hard, dry & cold and the mash potatoes only filled the container half way!!! Wasn't this place closed for a few months in 2017?? After preparing our own dinner for our kids and reluctantly eating this garbage I called Popeye's & it took 30 minutes before someone would answer the phone when finally a rude female who for some reasons did not want to put me through to a manager who for some reason wanted to know why I needed him and because I wouldn't tell her, slammed down the phone without telling me anything. Wasn't sure if she hung up or...?? Then, Manager FINALLY comes to the phone and I barely understood him anymore than he understood what I was saying. I feel like he was playing stupid to frustrate me into giving up. He won. The ignorance, the lack of kindness & patience and poor quality control is completely out the window at Popeye's chicken @ Lake Ave. Their 5 dollar box meals can only keep them doors open for so long..
Ever since this Popeyes opened they have been great, very nice and clean space. The chicken has always been fresh and hot every time I’ve been. The new management is great, they have multiple people working so the wait is never to long. The bathrooms are have stayed clean the times I’ve been. The driver thru is pretty quick I believe the longest wait was 5 mins. And as for inside my longest wait was 4 or 5 mins. They have different deal each week, most of the deals are pretty much worth it. There’s only been one time that I’ve been and the place was a total mess but it was quickly cleaned. A side note I was overall skeptical about the new Popeyes especially with the last management it was horrible. For example the place was so dirty and every one of the trash was over flowing and this was all the time. The bathrooms had pee all over the floors and it looked like it barely been mopped, and I am glad this management is so much better, so I don’t have to go out to far for some chicken
