The bar is nice, plenty of space inside and out. Staff is always good. The wait times could get lengthy since everyone and their dog is having dinner at Dinosaur, but the wait is always worth it! Make sure to call ahead before you go. Reservations are ideal on a nice weekend night.
Dinosaur rocks! Such a unique restaurant. The environment inside is an adventure every time. Everything on the menu is amazing. I normally go for the ribs.
I recommend the ribs but you can never go wrong with pulled pork either :)
All locals and all visitors need to visit the Dinosaur at least once just to say "I've had the Dinosaur BBQ"
Crowded and for a reason, food was great. Good value and the atmosphere was pleasant. Do recommend their hot sauce... not insane... just right!
This is the best BBQ in the North East which is why it's an It's upstate phenomenon. Multiple different delicious sauces from sweet to spicy. A vast menu with the best BBQ dishes and tons of side choices. Centrally located and a biker feel the ambience is quite unique and makes the experience even more worth the wait time.
Their catering is also another great way to go to experience the dinosaur and host a party with some great food.
Went for lunch. Great service! Very attentive! No wait on Thursday. Good food. (Better than most, not *the best* I’ve ever had) $ were probably what can be expected, but a little stiff IMO. Had the 1/4 rack with M&C and Chili. Cornbread came with.
Absolutely my favorite BBQ place, I normally am not a fan of BBQ at all but I can never say no to Dinosaur! I’ve been coming here since I was young and they have always been so nice to my family and I. It is normally packed there around 5 and 6 so I recommend going earlier or call ahead. High quality food and friendly staff!
