Restaurant with a difference. With its southern look and feel, this is a good place for a meal. There breakfast menu is diverse with lots of options. The cracker barrel is a combination of goods for sell and eat ins as well.
The care that was taken to get the 50 people I was travelling with seated and fed was unparalleled. They were so kind and friendly and operated like a well oiled machine. It's Cracker Barrel so the food was top notch as usual. Great place to visit!
My family and I have travelled and gone to cracker barrel's all over america for years and each time I've loved it. Their chicken fried chicken was one of my childhood favorites. The other night my friend and I went to the one in my hometown for the first time. I had never been there before but I thought it would be like any other cracker barrel. Unfortunately, when I got my food my chicken was completely raw on the inside. The sides themselves were barely cooked only the breading was. It wasn't even pink, just raw. I immediately lost my appetite for dinner when I bit into it. When I complained I was simply told that they were having problems with their stove. Not only that but the waitress was extremely rude and unapologetic after I complained and when I asked for my check she slammed it on the table, told me to have a good night and immediately turned around and walked off without letting me utter a word.
Obviously Thanksgiving is going to be a busy time. Under an hour to wait for seating was not unreasonable. Our server was indifferent. We appreciate good service but prefer more upbeat and personable wait staff. The food was fair with very little fanfare. The low stars is from the intrusive notifications to Rate and Review. So here's the Rate and Review. Next time don't continually contact us to Rate and Review we will contact you!!!
Our server was fantastic. The food was good. Unfortunately the women's bathroom smelled like urine, although otherwise clean.
