David responded promptly to our call for several plumbing problems. He costed them all out separately (providing a discount for more than one job), and did the ones we chose with the highest level of care, expertise and professionalism. Not only that, but he has a great personality and is definitely a high quality human being. We called for a plumber and received a friend.
I have used Pride Plumbing several times, always with outstanding results. I was able to quickly make an appointment and the plumbers arrived on time with a quick confirmation call to me before arriving. The work of Dave is excellent and he spent time to make sure I understood the process and cost of the plumbing I had done. He discussed options and helped me make an informed decision.I would highly recommend Pride Plumbing for any plumbing needs you might have and will continue to use them for work at my house.
I called Pride 11/16/17 to repair a small leak in piping under a crawl space and arranged for service the following week (11/21). $30 service call fee very reasonable. After inspection, I was quoted almost 700 dollars - $400 for the leak repair (including replacement of a tee fitting and 1 foot of piping) and almost $300 for the crawl space work. Extremely expensive, especially since the total amount of time for this service was about 2 hours - including drive time to our home (I tracked the time). Assuming a tee fitting cost of $50, that's $650 or $325 per hour labor and travel. I have owned a small industrial equipment business for over 30 years and understand the cost of service, but this was way out of line competitively. No pressure to accept the work from Pride, but given the upcoming Thanksgiving gathering later that week,at our home, I had no time to seek other sources for the repair. Sorry but I cannot recommend a firm who does quality work, but charges excessively for it - and places customers in such a very frustrating and conflicting position despite their no pressure approach. .
This snafu with Pride Plumbing over this minor project follow-up has soured our otherwise positive experience. We may now have to "update" our family and other acquaintances to whom we had previously related our "glowing" positive experience.
Pride Plumbing sent Steve out to do our job to 1) install a new sink and faucet, 2) reconfigure a washing machine waste water line, 3) install an ice maker line, and 4) install a new main water cutoff valve. Steve was VERY conscientious and did great work even resolving some work done by another prior plumbing company. Steve worked a long day and returned to finish up the second day. We were renovating our new home and the floors were being redone so there was some pretty strong odors he dealt with, but he did not complain at all. We would welcome Steve back to do any future work we might need.
Called Pride Plumbing and they were able to schedule a call out the following day to give a quote for replacing bath faucets. David was the technician and I was very impressed with his professionalism, courtesy and explanation of pricing. We gave the go ahead (Pride Plumbing was $200 cheaper than another well know plumbing company). Absolutely delighted with David's efficient work and will certainly choose them again the next time we need any work doing. David is an asset to your company.
We did not realize (before Steve left) that the sink surround had not been caulked. We called Pride Plumbing back but Steve was not available. We asked for any technician to come back and do that very minor item. They were able to book us a few days later, but then when they arrived the technician said that Ross (the owner) had said the technician would need to charge for this additional work. After having already paid $1600 for the work, this additional charge did not sit well. (The technician was only the "messenger" and not to blame, rather it was management that we faulted.) We voiced our displeasure with the technician, who called back to the office to relay our displeasure. They did go ahead and perform the caulking at no charge. (Apparently the new technician was not given the history of our install and did not realize the caulking was just "completion" of the install -- a lack of internal communication within the company?)
