We stayed at Best Western Rochester Market Place Inn and were pleasantly surprised. Room was clean with well stocked linens and towels. Check in and check was well handled by the reception. Breakfast included both cold and hot items with fruits. Will definitely recommend for over night stays.
Simple room and convenient place to stay for the night before flying back home, close to both downtown and the airport without being right in the midst of it. Room was nice, breakfast was good and the place seemed quiet. Overall a nice place to spend the night.
Typical Best Western rooms (good, but not great - basically what you'd expect for the price)... but unlike most Best Westerns the breakfast was absolutely terrible. Nothing was particularly fresh, breakfast room wasn't very clean, waffle batter was not prepared properly.
This was definitely the best hotel we have stayed in over the last couple of years on our trips to family gatherings in the area. We particularly appreciated the small microwave in the room, we are big pop corn eaters watching TV in the evening (the other places we have stayed at on this long trip did not offer one). The staff was extremely friendly and courteous and helpful and interested in our staying there. Highly recommend this hotel, and I did when I attended the meeting in Rochester later that morning (11/6/17).
The room was clean, but over priced. The furniture was all scuffed up, and the half-bath (toilet and tub) was so small that a person couldn't even change clothes in it. The bathroom door also would not latch, (door frame was out of alignment, caulk was missing, etc). As usual for a hotel, the card keys only worked part of the time, and not for the outside door closest to parking at the end of my wing. Breakfast was mediocre, but included. King size bed, and 4 tiny tiny pillows that were too soft.
