I have been a customer here for over 5 years and have never had a problem until this past summer when they managed to lose their most important employee. I never had a late payment, any issues of not recieving my bills on time or at all. When it came time to take some things out of my unit, I couldn't get in or find anyone on the pagers to respond. I had to wait until morning when after many attempted calls decided to go there since their machine clearly states that someone will be there at 10 and no one answered or returned any phone calls. When pulling up there is someone there in the office and still not answering phone calls. She told me that my account was closed (which it wasn't) she also told me that it was my responsibility to remember that I have a bill to pay and pay it on time. I have been getting no bills but somehow manage to recieve the ones after the due date with the late fee as well as phone calls from her. I have asked to speak to owners and she says they cannot be bothered. Again now here it is January and I realized that I had no bill. I called her and she again states that she has no idea why but that the company is planning on doing without the billing process and make it every clients duty to remember their payment is due. I still have not paid the bill and low and behold I get a bill with late fees today as well as a phone call from her doing her job because I am 3 days late. I cannot believe that they have come to this but you are a fool if you keep your things here. There are much better places to put your things and have them safe and not have to deal with such ignorance from employees who have no idea what it is to have good customer service
I was a customer for 10 yrs. When I contacted them to close the unit, I faxed them a letter as requested one month before I was to vacate. That next month I received a bill for $140 representing cleaning fees, the next month's rent & security deposit. I immediate called them, told them I had the copy that I typed in the correct fax number. They said there was nothing they could do and I need to pay. They also claimed that I wasn't vacated by the 1st of the month, which I still argue over. I paid the bill reluctenly and tried calling them to tell them if I paid the next months rent, why they were charging me a cleaning fee then. Could never get anyone to answer the phone. I called and left messages every day; sometimes twice. they finally called back and said they would refund the cleaning fee. It is now 2 months later and no refund has been received by me. I've tried numerous times to call and again ADRIANA won't answer the phone or call back. My next step is to visit the office; with my lawyer if need be.
