If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I am in the United States Air Force and decided to use dewey ave self storage to store my car while serving overseas. It was a BIG MISTAKE! I was paying seasonally so I would pay 6 months at a time. I made a payment in January that was good through June. When I came back from overseas in April the owner would not reimburse me for 2 months of storage that I no longer needed but had already paid for. He told me that it was my fault for not switching to a month to month payment. My tour in Japan got cut short so I didn't know I was going to be home this soon. On top of everything else when I got my car back it had a large dent/scratch in the door that was not there before. My Cadillac is my baby and I know every mark and blemish on the car. The scratch was absolutely not there prior to placing it in storage. I was told by the owner that I was lying and that they had nothing to do with the scratch. We also called to let him know we would be picking up the car about 8 or 9 days prior and he said it would be ready for pickup. When we called the morning we were coming to pick it up he still had not pulled it out for us. He got angry and said he needed at least a 2 weeks notice to pull the car out. I would strongly advise against using Dewey self-storage.
This was my second time storing my 2010 Acura TL with dewey self storage for the 6 month winter season. I rate it 5 out of 5 because you definitely get what you pay for. Brought my car in freshly waxed and looked spotless when i picked it up both times. Dealing with Dakota was a pleasure and made it a very simple process. Will definitely be back next winter. Highly recommend for your vehicle storage needs.
I rent a storage unit with my dad, customer service is on point! Large unit and very affordable! Convenient to my dads home and easily accessible! I’d recommend!
Great storage facility, limited hours & access. Interior units, climate controlled but not air conditioned or heated. I've been renting for about 7 years, never had any problems. Nice owners.
