I have attempted to call and see if any was in stock after waiting for the said time period. Each time the sales person goes on a tangent on how long it would take them to go look. Basicially it sounded like they did not want to go look. I politely told them not to worry about it.
I have worked in retail. It is a happy customer experience that makes the store. If a customer is looking for an item. Help them! Make the customer your priority and work with them to make their buying experience a pleasent one. I guess I will just order this product online.
They had an Item that was expensive that I wanted to buy. They did not have it in stock. They had a floor model. But I wanted a new one. The salesperson told me they would order a new one. And they would have it in the store in a week or 2.
Walking in I was met by a raffle ticket sale. $5 later I started shopping. That sucked. Then I could not find anyone to help me in shoe department for a solid 20 mins. Several other customers walked through browsing shoes during this time too. Finally a couple of employees came out and one helped me, but I really felt like I was interrupting them, keeping them from some other task. Another customer came in looking for shoes too. Said he had been in during the week and could not find anyone to help either. Remarked that it's was no wonder people shopped on line. We both agreed that shoes on-line can be tough, so you really should have at least one employee dedicated to the shoe department at all times. Missed opportunities. Check out was fine.
Well stocked year round. Buys/trades used guns. Every department seems to have helpful and knowledgeable people. Rewards program gets you real discounts.
field and stream is great! I always have a coupon to use and saving money feels good. Rob, Rick and John are great guys and extremely knowledgeable. my only complaint is that the lead free ammunition selection is next to non existent.
Excellent service by an expert in firearms sales. He did not try to sell me higher priced product but just enough to fill my needs. A manager came in to help with the volume of customers. Apparently the salesmen were not using the customer numbering system but the manager used it to get things back on track. Signs everywhere stating' Take a Number' but most salespeople ignored numbering system. Very good prices and exceptional selection. I will shop there often probably during off peak hours!
