I feel the system failed my child. The waiting room was small and very loud. Very difficult to hear the receptionist when making appointments over the phone. We missed one appointment (because I heard incorrectly from the receptionist) and my sons psychiatrist called to say he thought we were done with services even though my son was having horrible headaches still on the meds and his performance at school was poor. His therapist was unable to reach my son. He would tell her "everything was fine". When I voiced my concerns to his therapist about her inability to reach out to him she said she was aware of it, but nothing ever changed. She talked, he pretended to listen, and then we paid the bill. They are very strict about changing appointments. While I understand to a degree, typically you can call a md office and cancel as long as you give 24 hr notice. Not here! We have since left and are seeing his primary doctor. My son was a patient for 1.5 yrs so basically $5000 wasted!
I LOVED the psychiatrist I was seeing... But the receptionists are the reason I will NEVER come back here! They're rude and I had one try to get smart with me because my husband's surgery fell on the day of my appointment and I called to tell them why I couldn't make it... She made it seem like this was more important than his surgery! Nah, will not come back until they learn how to talk to people! I'm in there for a reason, and I'm pretty sure she don't wanna find out why!
