But there is a big upside. After buying tickets on line ( at the lowest price I've seen for first run movies.) and showing up early ( and dealing with a pounding of commercials now on every screen). I found the auditorium was clean, no theater smell, roomy - seats we upgraded to lounge chairs, and the projection was clean and bright, sound crisp and tuned. This was a very, very good movie experience that started in a so so lobby. I ended up liking the place.

We usually go before noontime because ticket price is only $5. They have $1 popcorn offers on certain days. They have recliner chairs.

My husband and I enjoy going to this theater because it is less expensive and cozier than larger theaters. The popcorn is just as good as chain theaters and the service is more personable. It is never as crowded as the larger theaters and the seats are comfortable, though they don't recline. Its a nice, quiet place to go see a movie with a homier feel.

If you have never been there before, it is a bit different from today's cineplex experience. The first time we went without buying tickets on line I was dismayed. Its lobby appears worn and tired and the ticket booth is abandoned. You purchase tickets at the concession counter with long lines. It looked to me like a second run house.

Theater # 8 Victoria & Abdul is an unforgettable cinematic masterpiece! I suspect Judi Dench will win an Oscar. ⭐⭐⭐Reclining seats are so comfortable. ⭐⭐⭐ Post Viewing Observation: The Little Theatre Showing of this film has 2 scenes that were edited/omitted here: 1. Royal physician examination/diagnosis of Abdul Karim's infertility. 2. The pledging of the Queen's 3 closest court companions 'to not disrespect the Munchi.' WHY did they do that?

So comfortable, friendly and homely. Love this adorable place to bits.
