This place is amazing. It's a beautiful, comfortable place to meet with people to get work done. Free WiFi and lots of different types of seating arrangements. The staff is extremely helpful as well.
Movies are free and they tend to have a few recently released movies that come in Blu-ray and/or DVD format. And for a dollar, you can reserve upcoming movies.
A competent librarian assisted me at Irondequoit and signed me up for the book and it will be sent to the Henrietta library when available.

Very modern. Good selection, nice staff and places to sit and read.
Did not have nearly the good experience others have had. Could not get help taking out a book. Was told to go to 2nd floor. On 2nd floor I was totally ignored for 15 minutes while the one person there sat talking with a friend on the phone. When I finally insisted on that person to assist me I was met with apparent anger for disturbing the phone chat. Have not been back since then.
This a great library! Plenty of activities for toddlers high school kids. I usually go here to borrow movies and to have my son play in the children's area.
...and for that reason they get 5 stars.
Three calls for one book.
I live in West Henrietta and called last week to request a hold on a new book the library had acquired. I was told the place of availability was not posted call in a wk. I called today and was told it was available at Irondequoit and Penfield and to call them.
If you try to visit on a Thursday in the summer, there's a public market adjacent to it so parking might be a little scarce.
