They are overpriced in most all departments.Yet the employees are very friendly and helpful.

I had searched everywhere in Rochester and surrounding towns for a flowering shamrock plant for my Granddaughter to carry down the aisle as she got married. Never dreaming it would be so difficult, I was unsuccessful. The places with answering machines never even called me back. The next step was the internet. Only Amazon could help but not in time for the wedding. And the cost was outrageous.
Always great service and wide selection. Flowers and flower delivery is the best, bar none. Spring plants can be a little pricey, but, hey, you get what you pay for. Many of those hardware chain store plants won't make it.. Just sayin'
I remembered seeing a beautiful garden store in Irondequoit last year near the High School. The helpful, knowledgeable lady who answered the phone at Genrich's went looking for a flowering shamrock and came back with wonderful news. They had two different kinds.
I despise giving local business less than 4 stars but Genrich's is just overall "OK" in my opinion.
I've purchased two infested succulents there so far but still have a thriving jade, albeit lopsided.
The air plant section looks like a graveyard with withering brown plants hanging and begging for water. Tillandsias are my favorite but not at three times the cost of healthy ones anywhere else.
I will recommend Genrich's to all of my many garden enthusiast friends.

Great local family owned establishment with great customer service and good selection on outdoor plants, flowers, and floral arrangements.
It only took about 20 minutes from my home in Greece to arrive. I found both kinds of plants and because the price was so very reasonable for these beautifully healthy plants, I bought one of each!
The connecting shoppe is adorable with miscellaneous quality handmade items, jewelry, accessories, garden decor etc.
