Dr. Prativadi is an excellent doctor! She really cares about all of her patients and actively strives to search out new and better ways to help them. She sets a goal higher for herself than most practitioners do. I know from a lot of personal experience. I am struggling with a chronic illness and Dr. Prativadi gives me encouragement and hope to keep fighting. She is not only a compassionate and extremely knowledgeable doctor, she is a soulful and wise woman who listens and aims to heal.
Rough experience with billing and service, would not recommend.
Honestly the worst care I have ever received from a doctors office ever!! I had my son with this practice in 2014 and enjoyed my experience. Unfortunately all of the doctors during that time left (seems to constantly be a revolving door of doctors). My original doctor there was Marcy Mulconry who is awesome! Since that original experience in 2014 every experience since then has been subpar!! Until this past week when it turned absolutely awful!! I was 8 weeks pregnant and was experiencing cramping and bleeding. I called them first thing Monday morning only to be turned away and told there was no way they could see me for 5 days!!.... There was zero care, compassion or effort shown by this office!! I was shocked, scared and sad! They told me their ultrasound office wouldn't get me in either. They completely turned me away with zero empathy! They told me they were already over booked and no one there even a nurse could take the time to see me. I begged them to call me and please get me in if there were any openings or cancelations at all and the receptionist said she would call me if there were. I decided I wanted to switch my doctor. I called the practice my original doctor moved to just to switch. Upon starting my new patient process I told the receptionist I was experiencing cramping and bleeding without hesitation she and my doctor asked me to come in as soon as I could! I wasn't even technically their patient yet(I needed to do my release paper work at Highland still) and they already cared more about me and my baby than Highland women's health who I was a loyal patient to for years! Later that day while I was waiting for my ultrasound that was also easily fit in else where. I went to Highland to fill out my release paperwork while I was sitting there filling out the paper in the empty waiting room. A women called who accidentally missed her appointment the receptionist laughed and said "Not a big deal at all. We have open appointments today, can you come in at 2:15? Okay see you then!" I didn't know weather to laugh or cry. I was so upset. There is one nurse there Julie who is amazing!!!! Other than her no one seems to express any care just shuffling people through. I urge you to find a different practice. I hope my awful experience helps you in some way and it doesn't happen to anyone else.
Highland in general has gone down in quality. I can't believe how bad the service is now. Their newest fail in customer service is this ridiculous call center they are using instead of having someone at the office answer the phone. I was told I couldn't cancel my appointment. But I'll bet they'll charge me for not going even though they refused to provide a way for me to cancel. Very disappointing. A couple years ago this was a great office, not anymore.
The five stars is for her, but I would give her more.
