I wish I was dead so this pain would stop. It isn’t worth living. He did this to me. I don’t care how many years he has been doing this, All I know is the pain he created,
People be warn. Don’t trust this man. If he wants to operate on you get away from him. Don’t believe him when he tells you he is the only one who can do this like he told me. It was the biggest mistake of my life.

I can't understand all this positive feed back. I took that in consideration and look what it got me. Pain and nothing but pain. I should have listen to my primary. I should have gone to the ENT'S at RGH as suggested.
I had never had any pain in my face or never had this problem swallowing my food. When I complained about the pain I was having he stuck a tube down my nose down to my throat and told me there was nothing there. He said it was in my head. He said he has been doing this for a long time and I was imagining the pain. They did nothing to help me. I now am going to have this pain for the rest of my life. The Butcher Coniglio has ended the quality of life. I'm constantly going to the pain center at RGH for shots in my mouth to try to limit this pain.
I had surgery to remove extensive dysplasic lesions on my tongue. I found Dr. Coniglio to be professional and competent. His demeanor was courteous and accessible. I would recommend him to any acquaintance. I don't understand all the negative reviews, as this was not my experience.
He has ruined the Quality of my life! It has been 20 months since the surgery I had with John Coniglio. He has reduced the quality of my life. Because of his surgery I have pain in my neck,Pain in my throat, ear pain, numbness in my neck and have difficulty swallowing my food. I will have this for the rest of my life.

He removed my lymph nodes from my neck for a precaution. He never discussed the side effects of this to me. Had I known the pain I have been enduring for the last 20 months I would have never have had this done.
The place was very nice looking but the Doctor his self was borderline rude with no bedside manor. He acted like he didn't want to touch me and also couldn't wait to get out of the room.He also didn't seem to want to answer any questions and rushed. One of the worst experiences with a Doctor ever.

I had a lesion on my tongue. The MRI showed that the lesion was cancer and was confine to my tongue.
I suspect that, for the most part, only dissatisfied patients write these reviews and that their problems are the result of serious medical conditions, that don't resolve in the way they might have hoped.
The doctors at RGH where just going to remove the lesion on my tongue. He told me that he was the best qualified for cancer. He said the doctors at RGH were not as experience as him. What a mistake I made to listen to him.
He also removed part of my throat.. Why he removed part of my throat was never explained to me. To me he is nothing but a butcher.
I was referred to Dr. Coniglio by my Primary care provider Dr. Andolina who spoke highly of Dr. Coniglio. I am also a provider myself and have heard nothing but great things about him. I had a scope of my sinuses and pharynx in the office. I had an appointment at 9 am and I was out of the office and done before 10 am. Not only was the office incredibly efficient, Dr. Coniglio was timely and when in the room did not at all make me feel rushed. Answered all my questions fully and was kind, understanding and very gentle with my scope. Fantastic bedside manner. Highly recommend him!
