I am impressed with the intimate dance floor, as it always seems to give me enough room to practice my moves. The DJ will bust out some classic 90's beats ranging from Oops I Did It Again from Britany Spears to Tearing up My Heart by NSYNC. Sometimes you get the occasional New Kids on the Block song where you are reminded of the good old days when you had the orange lunch pale at school (yeah, that was me). The dance floor also has bottle service at the many private booths scattered around, perfect for popping open that bottle of generic champagne while listening to the Backstreet Boys. Vinyl will have you dancing so hard, you'll forget for a second that you're in your 30's. While you may leave a sweaty mess, odds will be in your favor that you won't be the only one.

Cheap drinks, average music. Can be fun if you come with a group.

Overall: BEST 90's Dance Beats, CHEAP drinks, Great Rotating DJ's, Sticky Floors, Nice Outside Patio, and One Hell of a Dance Party....Of Course I Will Be Back.

I definitely recommend going to Vinyl if you want to enjoy some epic 90s and early 2000s music in a club that allows for safe space dancing. Vinyl is the perfect place to go with a group of ladies with a big age range (21 years to 58 years)... every one is able to dance to music they enjoy. Vinyl is a great place to go for bottle service as well. They offer bottle service packages that are reasonable in cost. Additionally, the staff and service of Vinyl was excellent. They were very attentive to our needs and willing to go above and beyond with any request we asked. Anyone that is in the process of organizing a bachelorette party/ladies night that is looking for a safe place to dance then make sure to add Vinyl to your list!

Went out there with few co-workers and we had good time. Place is older and outdated but music was good. Owner was nice and offered us few free rounds. Place could use more crowd.

I had a blast the first time I went there with my friends, so I wanted to go back to introduce my friend to the environment since she's never been there. This time around it was a little different. The first bartender (she was blonde but I don't know her name) didn't make my drink correctly and I had to ask her to add the other part to it (a tequila sunrise shouldn't look completely pink and taste carbonated). There were four bartenders total and none of them seemed to want to serve anyone. The blonde one was on her phone the whole time, and one of the guy bartenders was vaping everywhere on everything. Really weird second experience.

If extreme 90's dance beats are your thing, then Vinyl Nightclub is the place to go. Located right in the East End district, this is your neighborhood club to dance the night away. The security at the club is always top notch making sure everyone is in order, and no one is starting any fights. Usually the cover charge is 5 bucks, which is cheap to have a good time. Inside the club is nothing spectacular, but it will cover the basics that you're looking for. It has 2 floors, with DJS playing on both floors during busy nights. It also has a nice patio outside overlooking downtown Rochester, which is great if you need a cigarette break or a breath of fresh air. I do like the music they play here every-time, since it is the type of music you karaoke too while hanging out at home in your underwear. The DJ's are supportive of the locals in the community, always giving a shout out to the 14607 peeps. The drinks are BASIC, so don't look for anything crafted or special but they are CHEAP. The cheap drinks go hand-in hand while walking on some of the sticky floors.
